SHANE HARDEN - IMPACT SPORTS AND PLAY CENTER

THE TEAM

Casey-Wright.jpg

CASEY WRIGHT

Casey is the NinjaZone Founder and CEO. She is a mom & bonus mom to four young children and wife to Jeremy, whom she believes to be the best man on the planet (sorry, ladies!). Casey started working in her parents’ gym as a receptionist at age 7 and has been fostering her entrepreneurial spirit and business skills since that time. During her time at the IU Kelley School of Business, she continued to pursue her passion for all things gymnastics. An early bloomer, Casey was the US’s youngest National Team Coach, Level 10 Judge, club owner, and led a few dozen incredible athletes to the NCAA, all inside of 3 decades. When Casey isn’t e-learning anything she can get her mouse on, she is busy living by her personal motto: “Be the first one on the dance floor.” She car-dances to country and hip-hop, and she hopes to learn the West Coast Swing. Casey is desperately waiting for an invitation to one of Gatsby’s parties, where she can show off her moves. In the meantime, she gets a kick out of watching other people dance. Especially Trainer Danny

TATE SCHUETZ

Tate is officially the Chief Financial Officer, but he prefers to be known as his alias–Badass Ninja Boss (or, simply… “The Bald One.”). Tate is married to an amazing lady, and he has two giggly little girls who are growing up too quickly. Tate’s hard work is motivated by the thought of an early retirement somewhere on a beach. He loves to travel with his family, and when he’s not number crunching, he’s also our resident problem-solver, whether he wants to be or not.

Erica ninja zone.jpg

ERICA BARNES

Erica is the Director of Business Development for the NinjaZone, but really just loves getting to know new people.  With a background in Leadership training, Fine Arts (Acting), and Advertising, her diverse skills landed her with the coolest company around.  When she’s not busy expanding our business all over the world, she is the wife and mom to two silly boys (respectively) who make her laugh every day, and dog mom to her 3.5 pound fur baby, Birdie.

TYLER ALLEN

Tyler is our Director of E-Commerce and Branding, with more than five years of web development experience and hundreds of websites created. He regularly maintains the NinjaZone Store and our websites. His education in visual design and brand strategy informs his mindful approach. Tyler is fueled by his passion for understanding the impact of a brand on consumer behaviors. While not being a ninja, Tyler and his loving wife, Kate, enjoy spending time with friends and family. They can often be found enjoying the outdoors, relaxing at a lake, or attempting to sing along at country concerts (mumbling through the words they don’t know is a shared passion). They also have a two-year-old Goldendoodle named Wally. You can follow all of his furry adventures on Instagram, @mydoodwallace.

Audra-1024x819.jpg

AUDRA DITTLINGER

Audra is Director of Member Success and also a member of the marketing team at NinjaZone. Audra leaves behind a long career in insurance, although her true love lies in writing. Audra’s passion for language lead her to earn a B.A. in English, and outside of NZ she is a freelance writer, ghost blogger, and pun enthusiast (she’d probably tell you a chemistry joke, but she knows she wouldn’t get a reaction). If Audra weren’t employed with NinjaZone, she’d probably spend most of her time chasing down John Stamos (it’s a totally healthy obsession. See Megan’s DMB reference above). Audra is married with two awesome kids and can be found at Starbucks in the morning and enjoying a glass of wine at night.

TYLER ALLEN

Kelly is Chief Operating Officer at NinjaZone by day and a zookeeper at home by night. She and her husband give sanctuary to a variety of animals, including dogs (Bunk, Job, and Higgins as well as some foster dogs), a turtle named Potter, and a hedgehog named Weebay. Kelly is the resident overachiever with a degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Purdue, a side gig at the Misty Eyes Animal Rescue Center, and she also happens to be a Registered Nurse. If she ever has trouble finding a job in one of those fields, Kelly plans to become a professional organizer or possibly tour with Snoop Dogg.

Kelly-1024x819.jpg

We as parents have a finite amount of time to enrich our littles' lives with the experiences, skills, and tools to give them the best chance to thrive as they leave our nest. We can’t take that lightly. We only get so many birthday parties, vacations, sport seasons, and game nights.

Whether this is your first experience with kids' sports, or your 10th, I encourage to take a pause and think about what sports are for. In my decades of experience has an elite level coach, if there is one thing that I could change, it’s that parents and coaches alike, forget too quickly why they signed up in the first place.

FUN. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY. FRIENDS. COORDINATION. FITNESS.

This is why we are here. To give our littles the best foundation for their future.

Every aspect of the NinjaZone program is intentional. From each class, to the move up mission, the mantra, to the Ninja Games… Every step of the way, we want this childhood experience to be remembered as an integral part of them as they grow.

In NinjaZone, their confidence is #1. We understand better than most, that an early positive experience is crucial. The strength, agility, skills, and coordination are just icing on the cake. Confidence is the pebble in the pond that gives them the belief that they’re good at hard stuff. They’ll learn to understand how their bodies move, and how to keep themself safe. They’ll learn that it’s okay to be afraid, and that mistakes are a part of learning. They’ll learn when it’s time to be “on stage” and when it’s time to be a good teammate. They’ll learn that challenges are celebrated and perfection is not. They’ll learn to think bigger.

Here’s to raising the next generation happy, athletic, fun, & kind kids! Enjoy it!

WHY PARENTS CHOOSE

THE NINJAZONE PROGRAM

NinjaZone Embodies Discipline, Focused Energy, and Skill to Develop Children for Life

We all want the best for our children; the influence that will allow us to continue shaping them into confident, capable people. At NinjaZone, we’ve crafted a program to give children the skills and confidence to continue learning and developing.

The NinjaZone program combines:

       The coordination from gymnastics

The strength and agility from obstacle training

       The creativity from freestyle movement

A child’s progression is determined by their own pace, handing them the tools to shape their own experience. By letting children advance individually, within a defined and collaborative program, children of all ages and genders receive more than athletic gifts. They’re strong, confident kids.

Learn more about NinjaZone, and see which program is right for your child.

When Casey Wright made the decision to transition out of coaching gymnastics, she looked at her gym’s recreational program, and wondered…where were the boys in gymnastics? When she started “Ninja Gym,” she brought together the discipline from martial arts, the coordination from gymnastics, the strength and agility from obstacle training, and the creativity from freestyle movement. Tricking and hardcore sports were included in the class, to be discovered at the child’s own pace.

From there, the program exploded, and NinjaZone was born. Casey realized she was training kids to have the athletic foundation to teach them how to be confident in their movements.

“I wanted it to have multiple components. We want to have a character component and an athletic component, because we’re dealing with little kids and we want to support what the parents want, and that’s to raise good humans. It was now on us to help kids build grit and confidence. Gymnasts learn how to practice instinctual safety. Kids don’t realize how to protect their own body.” Ninja Sport is changing that.

While boys may have been the initial target market, NinjaZone is now in over 240 gyms around the world, changing the lives of boys and girls alike. NinjaZone builds strong and confident kids, in a sport with no benches.

NinjaZone 101
NinjaZone is a fusion of obstacle course training, gymnastics, martial arts, and freestyle movement with the freedom for kids to progress and learn at their own pace.
